Third Floor on the Left presents ‘The Age of Mediocre Life,’ a site-specific solo exhibition by Eyal Agivayev. Curated by Meital Aviram, ‘The Age of Mediocre Life,’ is the first episode in ‘Life Chapters,’ a four-part exhibition.
Agivayev’s exhibit showcases a collection of digitally processed photographs, objects carved in plaster, relics, and concrete engravings. The images consist of remnants of nature, remains of life, rocks, fossils, textures, as well as childhood memories, all of which are washed away by a variety of colors.
‘Life Chapters’ consists of four episodes total, in which the participating artists will share their lives for a month with Aviram. During their stay, the artists and curator will set up an exhibition in the apartment where they live, which will open to the public for two weeks.
